Nocturnal Animals: How Can Anything See in the Dark? ๐ŸŒ™๐Ÿ‘€

Did you know the night is never really pitch dark, even with no moon out? There's always a little light, and some animals have eyes built to catch every bit of it.
Tonight's question comes from Sage in Rochester, Minnesota, who wanted to know how nocturnal animals see in the dark. We'll find out why an animal's eyes sometimes seem to glow in a flashlight beam, and why an owl has to turn its whole head just to look at you.
Have a question of your own? We'd love for you to send it to us.
Sleep Tight!,
